Happy Monday!
Man – life sure does keep throwing tough stuff in our direction, doesn’t it? Some things that only we or maybe our inner circle are aware of, and some things that the whole world seemingly knows about.
It can feel heavy.
I appreciate the perspective provided by Mirabel Madrigal from Disney’s 2021 animated feature, “Encanto”:
We all go through challenging times—both in our personal lives and in our leadership roles. It’s during those moments, when we feel overwhelmed or unsure, that finding a way forward can seem impossible. And if you know me at all – I’m not about just painting a rainbow over the tough stuff.
But if we take a step back and shift our perspective, we often discover a spark of light, hope, or opportunity in the least expected places.
Mindset does matter.
That light could come from the support of others, a moment of reflection, or even an unexpected solution we hadn't considered. It's about staying open to possibilities, even when the path feels uncertain.
This small shift in focus can be the key to unlocking growth, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.
So, whether you’re navigating a difficult situation or simply need a reminder that light exists even in the darkness, I encourage you to stay curious, stay open, and allow yourself to see what’s possible!
