WELCOME TO THIS MAGIC MONDAY MOMENT

Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!

How is the beginning of August treating you?  This is always a bittersweet month for me.  We try to pack in lots of summer activities – knowing that the start of school is just around the corner.

This summer has been full of awesome engagements with 1:1 coaching clients and leadership teams - so many big goals being tackled!   In all of the conversations – whether they have been about building confidence, elevating a business, creating more focus or starting on a new career journey – there is one common experience each person faces.  I’ll let Poppa from the 2015 Pixar film, “The Good Dinosaur” explain:

When you start with self-awareness as a tool to create your results - you go below the surface and uncover what the real barriers to overcome are.    That’s exactly what I help my clients do.

In almost every single case – what is revealed represents something like imposter syndrome, fear of the unknown, lack of self-belief or lack of self-trust.

And getting real those areas typically doesn’t feel good.  I call it the river of misery or the messy middle.

Going through it is what need to do if you want to get to the other side.

The other side is where your future self is.  It’s where the results are.  It’s where your aspirations come to life.

Are you willing to face your barrier so you can get to the other side?

Let’s go.  I’m right here beside you.

What goal are you working toward right now that you are stuck in? What is beneath the surface? How can you get real with what is really in your way? Are you willing to overcome it so you can get to the beauty of accomplishment?

Wishing you a wonderful week. You've got this!
