Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!
If you are a Disney+ subscriber – you must watch the newly released movie “Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers”. Even more so if you are an 80’s and 90’s kid! So entertaining and nostalgic. And, of course, full of little lessons…
I loved the moment when young Chip said this to Dale:
Huh. Now that is one to ponder.
I mean – taking risks can be SCARY! They are wrapped up in so much uncertainty, doubt and fear. There go our brains again – trying to protect us!
But when you let your focus be on those [well-intentioned] thoughts and emotions – you miss out. You miss out on the possibility, the excitement, the change and the progress.
✨ You might miss out on that dream job because leaving your current job (that you really don’t like) is “too risky”.
✨ You might miss out on an awesome friendship because sending that first message is “too risky”.
✨ You might miss out on getting that promotion because advocating for yourself is “too risky”.
[Side note….” it’s too risky” is just a thought. And all thoughts are optional.]
When it’s all said and done – is standing still and missing out worth it?
Only you can decide.
But I think you know the answer.
In what area of your life are you stuck because of the thought “it’s too risky”? Write down all of the things you might be missing on. Then ask yourself – might it be worth the risk?
