Happy Monday!
In the movie “Mary Poppins Returns” – Mary Poppins, Jack, Annabel, John and Georgie visit Topsy, who is Mary Poppins’ (second) cousin, at her fix-it shop on the second Wednesday of the month – which is the day that gravity-challenged Topsy’s life flips upside down. Mary Poppins so eloquently says to Topsy:
So often when things don’t go the way we would like them to – our natural reaction is to resist. Resistance comes in many forms and can be uncomfortable. We might get angry, shut down or buffer (ice cream, anyone?). Resistance can take a lot of energy - which we only have so much of! Why not use that energy in a way that serves you rather than exhausts you?
