Happy Monday!
I spend a lot of time talking to you about YOU. The focus on yourself, your own awareness, your own goals and your own obstacles. It truly makes all the difference in the quality of your results.
Along with that – you certainly don’t want to lose sight of that fact that as a leader (whatever that means for you) – the people around you are equally as important. That is one thing that Walt Disney kept top of mind, as reflected in this quote:
Whether others’ contributions are direct, such as taking on a significant role, burying themselves in the actual work or participating in activities; or more indirect such as providing resources, lending a listening ear or cheering from the sidelines….our accomplishments very rarely occur in isolation.
So, while you are elevating your own awareness and going after those big goals of yours – be sure to turn your lens outward.
Ask for help when you need it.
Extend appreciation along the way.
After all – teamwork makes the dream work, right?
