Happy Monday!
I take an Inside Out approach to the work I do with leaders and entrepreneurs. We certainly get to strategies and actions, but starting with self is where the magic lies.
It’s a natural human tendency to look outside of ourselves for the clues, the answers and the fixes. To get that new role, to build that skill, to figure out what path to take….something out there will tell us, right?
Maybe.
But don’t underestimate your own wisdom. In the Disney movie, Moana, Moana said it best when she sang this line in the song, “I Am Moana”:
There was a point in the movie when Moana was questioning herself. She felt like the world was against her.
Have you ever felt like that?
Just like it was for her….this is a signal that it’s time to turn up the volume on that inner voice, your inner knowing. Turn it up loud and really listen.
It’s an opportunity to get clear on who you are and what you want.
The outside can validate – but the call is right there – on the inside.
Moana figured out that it was her that already knew the way.
