I recently returned from Orlando, Florida where I attended (and spoke at) Lou Mongello’s Momentum Weekend Workshop. Momentum is a 50-person conference for entrepreneurs full of inspiration, tactical tips and amazing humans. This was my second year attending - and it was magical!
Most of what I learned from the presentations is not only helpful for entrepreneurs, but also for leaders of all kind. I will likely do future episodes on some of those topics!
The theme of the workshop was about your “puzzle”. A lot of times when we think about building something…whether it be a career, a relationship, a business or a skill…we picture building blocks. Start with one thing and build on it step-by-step. But thinking of this creation in terms of a puzzle gives a different vibe. It’s about digging through the multitude of puzzle pieces to find the ones that fit for our own situation - for our puzzle.
In the middle of our tables where these small, blank, square cardboard puzzles. The thought was to capture a take-away on each piece and determine how they fit together in a way to serve you and your business. I loved doing this. It was a creative way for me to document my biggest ah-ha’s and have them visual - knowing that I am in control of making them fit.
In this episode - I share what eight of the nine puzzle pieces of mine say. They may or may not resonate with you too!
It’s a pretty great activity - you might want to consider doing it too!
What do you think?
Do you think organizing all of the “things”as pieces of a puzzle would help you determine what is most important for you in this moment?
