WELCOME TO THIS MAGIC MONDAY MOMENT

Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!

Have you ever doubted yourself simply because you couldn’t see evidence of your own potential?  Or maybe you’ve questioned your leadership or life because the results you’re working so hard for feel just out of reach.

If this resonates with you – know that you are not alone!   As we head into a new year of possibility – it’s a great time to clean these limitations up.  This quote from Elf Bernard from Disney’s The Santa Clause 2 sums up the lesson well:

It’s a reminder that growth, strengths, and opportunities are sometimes out of sight – lying just beneath the surface - both in ourselves and in others. Here are a few nuggets of insight to ponder:

✨ We all have blind spots.  Becoming self-aware is about recognizing that there are parts of ourselves we haven’t uncovered yet - strengths, resilience, and confidence waiting to be discovered.

✨ Self-doubt and imposter syndrome can blind us to our potential, making us believe we aren’t capable just because we haven’t achieved something yet.  But know this: our worth isn’t defined by what we’ve done or seen so far.  Our potential exists, even if it hasn’t been fully realized.

✨ As compassionate humans, we must learn to see potential in others before it’s fully visible. For example – in leadership, just because a team member hasn’t demonstrated a skill doesn’t mean it isn’t there.  By holding space for connection and growth - yours and theirs - you can help unlock hidden possibilities.

This is our reminder to believe in what’s not yet obvious.  Trust the blank page in front of you, honor who you are, and keep moving forward.

As you set your intentions for 2025 – how will you apply these insights?

Wishing you a wonderful week. You've got this!
